About the Resort

Our resort is a 21-acre park. The park has a forest setting with many giant Ancient Redwoods, Madrones and Tan Oaks towering above. We are a family-oriented resort featuring a large heated swimming pool (May-October). We offer a private hiking trail which we like to call 'The Huffer Puffer'. This is a moderate walk that winds through the woods and foilage down to the river. Here you will find the tranquility and beauty of the Eel River. The sandy beach and safe swimming/lounging holes make the river a great alternative if the pool is too busy for you! Mid-November to early March is also the season for fisherman when Salmon and Steelhead come up the Eel River to spawn.

Summer evenings are time for nightly campfires at your site or at our Group Campfire near the Recreation Room. We host many nightly activities such as Ice Cream Socials, Karaoke by the Campfire, Bingo, Arts & Crafts and Children's Movie Night. Children love our 'Find the Rock' scavenger hunt which we do every Friday. We also have a children's playground, volleyball, badminton, basketball, ping-pong, adult pool table, air-hockey, foosball, shuffleboard and horse shoes - all available free to our guests!

Because of our variety of accommodations, which include Lodge Rooms, Cabins, RV Sites and Tent Camping, the resort is a popular place for family reunions and smaller business/church/school retreats. A group BBQ, campfire area and activity room with full kitchen are available for group functions. Many groups return on an annual basis!

For your convenience, WiFi is now available in our resort and we have a mini-mart/gift shop with many items ranging from Redwood carvings, pool-side toys, fresh milk and dairy, bread, ice and most other commonly forgotten essential items! We also sell bundled firewood and rent inner tubes for the river.

Many of our guest's keep returning year after year to relax and unwind in this beautiful place we call The Redwoods River Resort.
